Reaching out to and reeling in new clients. Advising existing customers. Providing input to optimise our sales processes. These are just a few of the tasks of the UK & IRE Account Manager for my client.

Salesperson, relationship manager, consultant: you are all these things and more. You represent our organisation - an experienced distributor - in your dealings with major players in the biotechnology sector.
This means we will give you lots of responsibility and the freedom to perform your duties and take ownership for your own success.
A few examples of your activities

You represent our organisation and you make sure that you meet the needs of our customers and maintain a positive relationship to identify sales opportunities, generate interest, analyse the opportunity and prepare quotations to exceed our sales targets.

Strong focus at customer relationship management with new and existing customers and acting as primary contact for assigned accounts.

Develop and execute sales strategies. Exceeding revenue targets while working with internal teams to deliver solutions and meeting customer requirements.

Present solutions to enhance the customer's workflow and identify cross-selling opportunities.

Driving the sales pipeline effectively by managing sales opportunities, preparing and presenting proposals, securing deals and monitoring customer satisfaction.

Develop strategic account plans outlining objectives, tactics and timelines.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and projects in the CRM system to assure proper business projections.

THIS IS YOU

You have a Bachelor's degree in Life Science or a comparable qualification

You have at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in Life Science industry

You have a commercial mindset and a winners mentality

You have a good understanding and in depth knowledge of Bioprocessing Industry, understanding of customers' needs and challenges

You have a relevant network in North England, Scotland and Ireland, bioprocessing customer base is a plus
-
You have the ability to travel around 60% of working time

You have excellent communication skills

A very good spoken and written level in English

You enjoy working internationally

You have a driving license
