Key Accountabilities
- Expert and technical direction of the EEG laboratory
- Methodological review, discussion about assessments (to be) implemented
- Prove of feasibility of projects
- Provision of materials and expertise for the purpose of generating study-specific documents
- To support creation of customer-relevant information and cost proposals
- Contribution to implementation of novel techniques and new methodologies
- Participation in internal and external sponsor meetings
- Correspondence with third-party providers
- Extension of method portfolio and contribution to implementation of novel techniques and maintenance of assessment database; familiarization, setup and validation of valuable positive control approaches
- Provision of suitable and appropriate inventories for investigations, also in patient populations
- International exchange and collaboration within the network and beyond
- To support conduct of audits and inspections
- Preparation of medical devices and prove of set-up and appropriate software settings for EEG and psychometric
- To support maintenance of technical infrastructure and rights-management
- To support efficient staff and capacity planning
- Management of general and study-specific training
- Responsibility for relevant SOPs and working instructions
- Generation of study-relevant documents
- Planning of the staff in cooperation with the Clinical Operation Manger for the department EEG and psychometric
- Order of materials and consumables
- Control and reading of study protocols and study documentation forms
- Training of assigned staff in study-specific methods
- Organization of study-specific training
- Generation of study-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Update of field-specific SOPs and Working Instructions
- Introduction in study-relevant documents (study protocol, CRFs, Amendments etc.)
- Independent performance of all clinical-operative tasks
- Documentation of study results and editing of study documents
- Take care and manage volunteers / patients
Skills
- Good English skills (fluent in spoken and written English)
- Computer skills (MS-Word, MS-Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility in working hours
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP Guidelines
Education
- Degree in psychology or human medicine
Language Skills
- English
Minimum Work Experience
- Relevant experience in planning and performance of clinical-pharmacologic studies in pharmaceutical industry and/or a research institute
- Profound knowledge in neuropsychological diagnostics and practical experience with regards to EEG and psychometric
