Job Title: Supplier Quality Specialist

 

Medella Life has partnered with a multi-national pharmaceutical company who are looking for a Supplier Quality Specialist to join them on a contract basis for the next 12+ months in County Cork.

 

This is an initial on-site role for the first 6 – 8 weeks, before moving to a hybrid model where you will be on-site for three days and have the option to work two days remotely.

 

The client is looking for someone who can provide strategic quality leadership, direction, and governance for specific operational domains and oversee and manage quality-related activities within the designated area.

 

Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited):

 

  • Examine and approve crucial GMP documents.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to assist Consumables, Raw Materials, and Service providers.
  • Maintain up-to-date and relevant documentation in vendor files.
  • Adjust and oversee the supplier evaluation process as needed.
  • Engage in the new item code process and provide approval for materials for operational use.
  • Reassess vendors in accordance with SOP or performance-related criteria.
  • Assess and give approval for change controls, observations, and deviations.
  • Oversee GMP compliance, data integrity, and systems within the designated operational area.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's (BSc), Master's (MSc), or Doctoral (PhD) degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, Quality, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience working in supplier & quality management

 

Duration and Compensation: This is a contract position with a competitive hourly/daily rate depending on experience and qualifications. The selected candidate may have the opportunity for extension or permanent employment based on performance and company needs.
