The company:

A small but rapidly growing pharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative therapies and treatments for patients is currently seeking a talented Senior Biostatistician to join their team.

As a Senior Biostatistician at this company, you will be responsible for leading the statistical analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data, designing and implementing clinical trial protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of clinical study reports.
 

The responsibilities:

  • Lead the statistical analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all statistical deliverables.
  • Develop and review statistical analysis plans, including sample size calculations, randomization schemes, and statistical methods.
  • Design and implement clinical trial protocols, including selection of endpoints and statistical methods, and conduct simulations and sensitivity analyses to assess the robustness of trial designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, data management, and medical writing, to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of clinical study reports.
  • Provide statistical guidance and support to other members of the clinical development team, including biostatisticians, data managers, and clinical operations personnel.
  • Represent the company at scientific meetings and conferences, presenting clinical trial data and representing the company's statistical capabilities and expertise.


About you:

  • MS in statistics or biostatistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in biostatistics in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods and their applications in clinical trials, including experience with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Proficient in statistical software, such as SAS or R, and experience with data visualization tools, such as Spotfire or Tableau.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex statistical issues.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
